Vanadium ironmaking plant optimizes sintering process to increase the proportion of pellets
24/01/2025
The sintering machine of the sintering plant of our company's vanadium ironmaking plant is operating continuously and efficiently. Since the fourth quarter of this year, the company's vanadium sintering system has fully promoted the "active ash + limestone" process, replacing the traditional "quicklime + active ash + limestone" model, continuously optimizing the flux structure, steadily increasing the proportion of all-vanadium titanium pellets, and helping to further optimize the blast furnace charge structure. In the first 10 months of this year, the use of pellets increased by 0.3 percentage points year-on-year, and the titanium dioxide content of slag increased by 0.26 percentage points year-on-year, while achieving the goal of fully stopping the use of imported ore in the sintering system.
