Product Description

The domestic construction industry is developing rapidly, especially in recent years, the application range of scaffolding has obvious advantages. New technologies, new materials, and new processes are constantly being developed and utilized in the construction industry, providing more fresh blood for the construction industry. Cuplock scaffolding series products, due to their unparalleled superiority, will inevitably replace the original traditional scaffolding for promotion and use. So what are the advantages of cuplock scaffolding?

Characteristics of Cuplock Scaffolding

Cuplock scaffolding, also known as disc scaffolding, is not the same type as wheel-lock scaffolding. In China, many people confuse cuplock scaffolding with wheel-lock scaffolding, which is clearly wrong. Cuplock scaffolding technology originated in Germany and is the mainstream product in Europe and America.

The support frame is divided into vertical rods, horizontal rods, and diagonal rods. There are eight holes on the disc, four small holes are for horizontal rods, and four large holes are for diagonal rods. The connection method of horizontal rods and diagonal rods is pin-type, which can ensure the firm connection between the rods and the vertical rods. The joints of the horizontal and diagonal rods are specially made according to the arc of the pipe, and are in full contact with the steel pipe of the vertical rod. After tightening the pin, it is subjected to three-point force (two points above and below the joint and one point of the pin on the disc), which can firmly fix the structure, increase the structural strength, and transmit horizontal force. The horizontal rod head is fixed to the steel pipe body by full welding, and the force transmission is accurate. The diagonal rod head is a rotatable joint, and the diagonal rod head is fixed to the steel pipe body with rivets. As for the connection method of the vertical rod, it is mainly based on the square tube connecting rod, and the connecting rod is fixed on the vertical rod, without the need for other joint components to combine, which can save the trouble of material loss and sorting.

Advantages of Cuplock Scaffolding

1. Advanced Technology

2. The disc-type connection method is the international mainstream scaffolding connection method. The reasonable node design can ensure that the force of each member is transmitted through the center of the node. It is mainly used in European and American countries and regions, and is an upgraded product of scaffolding, with mature technology, firm connection, stable structure, and reliable safety.

3. Raw Material Upgrade

4. All main materials use low-alloy structural steel (National Standard Q345B), with a strength 1.5-2 times higher than that of ordinary carbon steel pipes (National Standard 0235) used in traditional scaffolding.

5. Hot-dip Galvanizing Process: The main components all adopt internal and external hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion process, which not only improves the service life of the product but also provides further safety assurance, while also achieving beauty and elegance.

6. Reliable Quality: From the material preparation stage, the entire product processing involves 20 to 30 processes. Each process uses special machines to reduce human intervention, especially the production of horizontal and vertical rods, using self-developed fully automatic welding machines to achieve high product precision, strong interchangeability, and stable and reliable quality.

7. Large Load-bearing Capacity: Taking the 60 series heavy-duty support frame as an example, the allowable load-bearing capacity of a single vertical rod with a height of 5 meters is 9.5 tons (safety factor of 2). The ultimate load reaches 19 tons, which is 2-3 times that of traditional products.

8. Less Consumption, Light Weight: Generally, the spacing of vertical rods is 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters, and the spacing of horizontal rods is 1.5 meters. Larger spacing can reach 3 meters, and the spacing can reach 2 meters. Therefore, the consumption under the same support volume will be reduced by 1/2 compared with traditional products, and the weight will be reduced by 1/2 to 1/3.

9. Quick Assembly, Easy to Use, Cost-effective.

10. Due to the small amount and light weight, operators can assemble more conveniently. Erection and dismantling costs, transportation costs, rental costs, and maintenance costs will be correspondingly saved, generally by 30%.

Advantages of Cuplock Scaffolding Compared with Ordinary Scaffolding

1. Cuplock scaffolding is safer and more efficient to erect: The high efficiency of erection is self-evident. Because all connections are made by pins, operators only need a hammer to complete the firm connection between various members.

2. Cuplock scaffolding can better save costs and achieve higher efficiency. Although the one-time purchase cost of the cuplock scaffolding system is higher than that of ordinary steel pipe coupler scaffolding, in the long run, the average annual cost is much lower.

3. Cuplock scaffolding helps construction units improve their overall image.

4. All parts of cuplock scaffolding have undergone hot-dip galvanizing treatment, with uniform color and specifications, which can greatly improve the overall image of the construction site and help showcase civilized construction, benefiting the construction unit's corporate image promotion.

Disadvantages of Traditional Cuplock Scaffolding

1. Couplers (especially their screws) are easily lost:
2. The members at the nodes are eccentrically connected, relying on anti-slip force to transmit loads and internal forces, thus reducing their load-bearing capacity.
3. The connection quality of the coupler nodes is significantly affected by the quality of the couplers themselves and the workers' operations.

Adaptability of Cuplock Scaffolding

1. Construct various forms of scaffolding, formwork, and other support frames

2. Assemble A-frames

3. Erect ramps, sheds, stands, and other temporary structures

4. Use as auxiliary members for other types of scaffolding to strengthen members.
